This salad perfectly encapsulates the cafe’s dedication to freshness and flavor. Add to that, the rave reviews for their breakfast buffet—for just $15 you can enjoy specialties like crab cake eggs benedict and shrimp & grits, making it a must-try for breakfast lovers.
While Maurielle C found the pricing to be on the higher side, her commendation of the scrambled eggs and overall food quality shows that George’s Cafe knows how to serve up a delightful meal. The Saturday brunch scene might feel quiet at times, but the food definitely speaks for itself, with delicious options waiting to be explored.
Another highlight is Elizabeth's experience with the croissant sandwich—a generous portion perfectly cooked, paired with an impressive buffet spread that leaves customers in awe. The decor, a nod to The Beatles, adds a whimsical touch that makes dining here a delightful experience.

Was in need of a delicious salad and George’s Cafe came through in a major way! This brie and apple salad w/ a side of chicken salad was superior, the apples were crisp and very sweet, the strawberries were fresh and sweet, and the toasted walnuts also provided a hint of sweetness too! Edit: I have gone back multiple times for their breakfast buffet and it is truly outstanding! For only $15 you get unlimited food, with lots of options, including a couple specialty items like crab cake eggs benedict and shrimp & grits!

I thought this was a nice cafe overall. The pricing, in my opinion, was a bit high for what it was. They have a buffet option with a few dishes but not very many. I believe the food tasted good, notably the scrambled eggs! A cup of orange juice costs $4, so be aware of the expense for that. Also, the buffet was around $19. The food was good, but nothing extraordinary- there’s a lot of other options in Winter Park for breakfast/brunch. Lastly, we came on a Saturday morning and ate for about 45 minutes, and not a single other party came in to eat (nor was anyone else there while we ate). I was really curious about that considering we were there at 10a, prime brunch time on Saturday. Other than the pricing, the staff was very friendly and food was good. Give it a try!

We stopped in for Sunday brunch and it was absolutely fabulous. I got the croissant sandwich with bacon and it was more food than I could eat but it was absolutely perfectly cooked. The buffet is incredibly delicious and it's a beautiful spread of food with great choices. There is inside and outside seating and if you're a fan of The Beatles you will enjoy the decorations.

Fantastic lunch spot on Park Ave and very reasonably priced for the area. Was introduced to this place by a good friend for lunch and returned for a second try which was even better than the first. I ordered the classic salad which was full of fresh fruits like raspberry, blackberry, oranges, and strawberries, as well as a healthy portion of pecans and cheese. The flavors were refreshing and perfect. I asked about the soup of the day and was pleasantly surprised by the large portion and wonderful flavors of the Brunswick Stew. I would definitely order that again! Service is good, not great, but the food is fantastic. Charming location with lots of outdoor seating. Perfect for a quiet lunch in the area. Will definitely be returning soon!
